We started with SWING! by Rufus Butler Seder. Have you heard of Scanimation? I hadn't until Grandma gifted us this book. Each page features kids in an activity with visual movement on the page that is mesmerizing to a child.
We also enjoyed what I call the rap version of a children's book...Chicka Chicka Boom Boom! How can you not feel like getting out of bed and bouncing through your day after the rhythmic flow of this favorite alphabet book?!
